DentalPro™ is a customizable FileMaker Pro™ application that automates the billing process for small dental offices.
It is designed optimally for 5,000 receipts per year.
The program automatically looks up the patient information, pricing codes and default values created by the end user. It creates a receipt, insurance form & day sheet (income & payment balances for the day, week, month and year). This dental program is user firendly with push button quickness. It is the easiest to use program on the market. Because of it's simplicity the receptionist will have more time to spend on other task such as re-calling patients or filing and helping the office run smoother.
How to Setup DentalPro™:
1. Open "DentalPro™ Paramenters" file and input the information that pertains to you.
2. Open "DentalPro™ Patients" and input all balance forward patient accounts.
3. Open Pricing and set up the information needed.
4. Now you can begin inputting the balances forward into the Billing File or you can input all receipts from the beginning of your physical year. This is how you enter your beginning balances or balance forward. They must all be input on the same day. Force the "date of service" to be the same day that you begin even though you are entering data on different days.
a) From the Main Menu click on the button "Add a New Patient"
b) That switches you to the find screen. Enter that patient's number and Click on Find.
c) Click on the button "Create a Receipt"
d) Tab to proceedure code and enter "0"
e) Mouse into charges and enter the beginning balance for that patient.
f) Mouse to taxable enter "N" for that field so tax will not be charged. This will not change the patient information.
g) Press enter
h) Check your Balance This Receipt Only.
i) Click on the "Add" button and begin again. The previous balance will get very large with the addition of each new receipt, don't worry about it. It will change with each found set.
